If you are a professional fighter competing in Thailand, yes. If you are training recreationally, the education visa or DTV soft-power route is more appropriate.
Do I need a work permit to coach in Thailand?
It depends on the arrangement. Short-term coaching assignments may be covered by the sport visa, but ongoing coaching employment requires a work permit.
