Disclaimer
We write about Thai visas and immigration. We are not lawyers, and nothing on this site is legal advice for your particular situation.
The consulate decides, not us
Every visa application is assessed by the specific mission or Immigration office that receives it. They may ask for documents not listed on any website, they may change requirements without publishing the change, and they may refuse a complete file for reasons they are not obliged to share. No agency — including ours — can promise that a visa will be approved.
What we do about accuracy
Requirements on this site are drawn from official Thai government sources — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the e-Visa portal, embassies, consulates and the Immigration Bureau. Every visa page carries the date its facts were last checked against those sources.
Thai visa rules change often. A fact that was correct on its verification date may not be correct today. If your filing date is far from our last check, verify the current requirements with the mission directly or ask us to re-check before acting.
How we separate fact from practice
On every page, we mark whether a statement is an official requirement, a consulate practice observed in real cases, or our own internal standard. The three carry different visual treatments so you can tell at a glance whose rule you are reading. The full procedure is described on the editorial policy page.
The financial guarantee
For the DTV visa, we offer a 100% refund of our service fee and the consular fee if the application is refused. This is a commitment about our money — it is not a promise that the visa will be approved. The guarantee applies to the DTV product as described in your agreement with us; other visas carry their own terms.
Prices and fees
Government consular fees and our service fees are always presented separately. Promotional pricing expires without notice. Where we cannot confirm that a figure is current, the page says so rather than printing a number that might be wrong. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before you commit.
Limitation of liability
We provide visa information and agency services. We do not control, and cannot be held liable for, decisions made by Thai government authorities, delays in consular processing, changes to immigration law, or consequences of acting on information that was accurate when published but has since changed.
External links
This site links to Thai government portals, embassies and other official resources. We do not control their content. If an external link leads to something that no longer matches what we describe, please let us know so we can update or remove the reference.
