How is O-X different from O-A?
O-X gives 10 years (5+5) with a higher financial threshold (฿3,000,000 vs ฿800,000). O-A gives 1 year, renewable annually, with a lower threshold. O-X is only for citizens of eligible countries.
Do I still need annual extensions?
Yes. The visa is valid for 5 years, but you still need to extend your permission to stay annually and maintain the financial requirements.
