International Driving Permit (IDP) for Thailand
- Who it is for
- Tourists planning to drive in Thailand for less than 60 days. IDP must be issued in your home country before you fly — Thailand does not issue IDPs to foreigners inside the country, and police checkpoints in Phuket, Pattaya, Krabi and Chiang Mai routinely stop foreign riders. For longer stays the IDP is a stop-gap: by month two the Thai driving licence is the better answer and cheaper over time.
- Government fee
- Varies by country of issue: ≈ 20 USD (AAA, US) · £5.50 (UK Post Office) · 1,600 RUB (Russia) · 25 EUR (most EU)
- How long it takes
- 1-10 business days in your home country

How we work together
You fill in a short questionnaire and hand over the basics of your case.
We assess the risk — past stamps, refusals, overstays — build the filing strategy and fix the final price with no hidden charges.
You collect the documents from our checklist — bank statement, certificates, photo, bookings.
We audit the documents: statement format, translations, dates, wording. You get corrections back.
You complete the e-Visa form under our supervision and pay the consular fee.
We run the process, track the status and help you answer any follow-up request from the consulate.
You enter Thailand.
We check the issued visa for consulate errors and give you border-crossing instructions.
